REVIEWS

"Consistently good label (Outer Rhythm) sticks out another winner. Will probably go unnoticed by the charts but so what. Produced by the renowned Bass-ic House team, the kid who did this is still at college doing proper dance shows and basking in having loads of pukka talent. I particularly like the Depeche Mode-style little bongs. Not 100 per cent original but not a bad start with a hard but strangely soft techno feel. It all goes back to those little bongs though. Arpeggios I think they're called. It made me go a bit trance-like after an apricot sarnie"...New Musical Express, May 1991

"Like their highly rated label mates, Juno, Ability II marry a forceful techno backbeat with some equally strident vocals. Techno may be the name of game but not at the expense of emotion - "I don't need this pressure, can't you see I'm free?". How on earth can anyone say something that smacks of so much desperation and still manages to sound so fuckin strong? Beats me. All that is that they do it"...Musical article source unknown

"without any exaggeration i can say 'Pressure' is one of my favourite tracks of all time. I grew up in Sheffield in the 90s and that whole time of Bleep/Bradford/Leeds has a special place in my heart"...Luca Lozano - klass records
